First Flight Hardware

This marks the first blog post of many from the MARMOTSat team. We will be posting regular updates of mission progress here so stay tuned.

Today we received the first pieces of flight hardware for MARMOTSat from our sponsor Rainhouse! These parts are a critical part of the spacecraft's communication system - they are used to keep the spacecraft's antennas safely stowed during launch. Once MARMOTSat reaches orbit, the antennas are released automatically so we can start talking to the spacecraft. Rainhouse is a long-time supporter of the team, and a number of their parts have already been to space on ORCASat. They are always willing to help us out, and can solve any problem we throw at them.
