MARMOTSat Test Readiness Review

February 27, 2026

Author: Sian Friesen VE7TMF

On Monday February 23rd, MARMOTSat passed the Test Readiness Review (TRR) project milestone, the last major review on the roadmap to launch. The UVic team’s presentation and readiness was evaluated by members of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and ExoLaunch, who joined the team virtually for this occasion. This milestone is critical in assessing that the team can safely proceed with the flight unit vibration test, and ensuring the test preparations are complete.

The TRR described the status of the satellite including the changes made to each subsystem since the CDR presentation, the vibration test plan, and integration plans. The team also shared the successes and progress which has been made since the CDR presentation, including spacecraft assembly, testing, and manufacturing. The presentation ended with questions and feedback from experts at CSA and Exolaunch.
