Spacecraft Assembly

We are proud to announce that MARMOTSat has reached a major milestone: the satellite flight model has been fully assembled and is now ready for qualification testing.

All of the core subsystems have been fully integrated into a single flight-ready spacecraft, with the final assembled spacecraft weighing in at 5487 grams. Assembly proceeded smoothly, reflecting the well developed design process and the effectiveness of all our prior validation efforts. With integration complete, this configuration is now finalized with no further hardware changes to be made. MARMOTSat will soon undergo qualification testing that will validate performance under launch conditions, including vibration, functional testing of the fully integrated system and software testing. 

This milestone marks the transition from development to verification as the team moves ever closer to launch on SpaceX’s Transporter 17. Stay tuned for more updates!
